At the Mobile Big Game Fishing Club's 31st annual Memorial Day tournament, Ted Lyons, fishing off Calypso, was second after catching a marlin on 80-pound class tackle. He was named the top male angler in the event.

Andy Keller, fishing off Calypso, placed third at the 86th annual Grand Isle Tarpon Rodeo, with a 26 lb. 3 oz. Wahoo.
